ROUMANIE - 2012 - Capacity building for improving water resource management

The Malt Industry of the Soufflet group at Buzau (Romania) was recently equipped with a sewage treatment plant. Operated by the staff of the malt Industry, there are a number of disorders that can affect the quality of liquid waste treated. To identify and to optimize these deficiencies of the operation of its sewage treatment plants, the Group has appealed to the International Office from Water.

A full audit of the station was realized by IOW in 2011.

To bring the skills necessary for the operating staff, the OIEau realized a training session relative to the “Operation of waste water treatment plant working by activated sludge process”.
