CHINA - Global water technical assistance – Factory of Jiaxing
This french agri-food industry is going to build a factory in the city of Jiaxing, near Shangai. The field to install the facilities is already selected and areas to set the water facilities have been preliminary defined.
Taking the learnings of the wastewater issue in Kuala Lumpur factory, the company requested the technical assistance of the International Office For Water (IOW) in order to help the technical service to cope with this specific issue. Preliminary discussions between the company and IOW, which started in February 2015, lead to a first investigation in the field, realized in October.
The first step was useful to identify the scope of the required assistance.
The expected timeline, as described in Shangai, shows a will to start production in the factory at the end of September 2016.
A mission of technical analysis of 4 days was realized on the site in October, 2015
In order to help french agri-food industry to cope with the issue of water (drinking and waste water), taking into account the learning of the different visits and meetings in Xiajing and Shangai, taking also into account the feedbacks of the Kuala Lumpur WWTP, IOW advise different scope of our assistance.
