Colombia - Institutional support to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development

The Colombian Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development wished to benefit from the 50 years of practical experience of the French and now European system both at the technical and economic levels. Through an institutional support project, funded by the French Adour-Garonne Water Agency, the International Office for Water coordinated a project on the implementation of the National Policy on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM); the consolidation of the National Water Information System and the prevention of industrial pollution.
