Peru - New taxes on water use?

ANA (National Water Agency) is developing an ambitious policy to establish river basin management and a system of taxes for water use and wastewater discharge. IOWater and experts from French Water Agencies have intervened in this World Bank-financed project, whose aim is to provide pragmatic elements for establishing these water taxes: how to calculate them, what economic basis to justify them to future taxpayers, what use of the collected sums?
